The arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has prompted a statement from the British High Commission (IPOB). While the British High Commission confirm Kanu's arrest, Dean Hurlock, a spokeswoman for the British High Commission, informed TheCable that he was not apprehended in the UK, where he is located.  The IPOB leader, who is also a British citizen, has lived in the UK since fleeing Nigeria in 2017.
