List of 5 Nigerian Billionaires With Enough Money to End Poverty in the Country

Nigeria has a large number of wealthy citizens who are successful businesspeople. Perhaps this is why so many people regard business as a surefire road to riches.

According to an Oxfam report from 2016, some of their combined riches could help to end poverty in the country.

1 Alike Dangote
According to Forbes, the cement magnate is the wealthiest African man. According to Forbes, he is worth $11.5 billion (N4,714,310 million) in real time at the time this piece was produced. 

With his refinery under development, Dangote is also looking at the downstream industry.

2. Femi Otedola
Forte Oil, in which Femi is a major shareholder, operates hundreds of filling stations around the country. 

Forbes estimated his net worth to be $1.8 billion in 2016. (N737,892,000,000). It should be noted that his net worth could have changed since then.

3. Folorunsho Alakija
According to Forbes, she had a net worth of $1 billion (N409,940,000,000) in 2020 as the vice-chair of Famfa Oil. Her value, however, decreased in 2021 as the price of oil fell. 

The Nigerian government granted her an oil prospecting license in 1993. Since 2008, her Agbami field has been in operation.

4. Mike Adenuga
In actual time, the telecommunications behemoth is valued $6.3 billion (N2,582,622,000,000). He is the owner of Globacom, a corporation with more than 50 million users.

He used to work as a taxi driver to help support himself while pursuing his MBA at Pace University in New York.

5. Tony Elumelu
Forbes estimates his net worth to be $700 million as of 2017. (N286,958,000,000). He might be considered a billionaire by Nigerian standards and currency worth. Telecommunications is one of his investments. At UBA, he is one of the bosses. 

Meanwhile, Netnewshome previously revealed that Dangote's daughter, Halima, made headlines recently, and internet users were blown away by what she was seen doing.

Many fans were astonished when the young girl, who is known for her reserved demeanor, came up to dance at a recent event. 

Despite her outward appearance, the young lady was able to break it down on the dance floor as she sung and danced to Teni's song.
