 The administration of the Appeal Court has replaced three of the justices who were on the bench that overturned the 15-count terrorism charge the Federal Government brought against Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). According to Naija News, Justices Jumai Hanatu Sankey, Oludotun Adetope-Okojie, and Ebiowei Tobi criticized the Muhammadu Buhari-led government for allegedly "abducting" the IPOB from KenyJustice Oludotun Adebola, who delivered the lead judgment on October 13th, determined that the Federal Government violated all national and international laws when it forcibly returned Kanu to Nigeria, rendering the terrorism allegations against him ineffective and illegal. The court dismissed and overturned Kanu's charges brought by the federal government. The Appellate Court then declared Kanu not guilty of the charges.
